The first international retrospective on the iconic British designer Mary Quant within the V&A’s fashion galleries. The two floors provide contrasting environments reflecting the eras, garments and materials Mary pioneered. From the intimate Chelsea boutique street environment to the explosion of mass production and myth of the mini skirt the exhibition was closely crafted with the V&A curatorial team and members of Mary’s team and family. The upstairs central pavilion provides an exterior surface for personal Quant stories and immersive internal environment for an on mass display of cosmetics, daisy dolls and small garments.ion text goes here
