Sam is a dynamic and socially engaged designer and maker who is passionate about producing inspiring spatial, gallery and furniture design projects. He believes that his approach to design can truly transform spaces and engage users on a deep level. Sam has worked within a wide range of contexts and scales and with a number of cultural institutions on permanent and temporary projects. He works closely and collaboratively with client and stakeholder teams to understand their needs and ambitions.
Sam’s Dorset based studio and workshop can work across both the design and fabrication of furniture and interior fit out projects. He has a wide understanding of materials, making processes and sustainability creating unique, bespoke and holistic design outcomes.
Sam is currently the Lead Designer (3D) at the Victoria and Albert Museum and has led spatial design units at London Metropolitan University and UAL.
